What is a Dedicated IP?
Answer
A dedicated IP is an IP number that serves a particular domain only. By default one IP, such as 209.61.188.248, serves as the web address for several domains. This is called name-based hosting. If you want your domain to have its own IP, you would request a dedicated IP for that domain.
